The 2009 Bush Party - Sunday 1 March, 2009
What an amazing spot - beautiful native bush, awesome natural amphitheater, and a fantastic set-up.
The perfect location to be cranking out the dDub sounds. A wee haven - just North of Auckland too.
And a monster line-up.
The band luv'd it - lots of fun, we were really looked after by the MMM team, and there was a lot of mutual respect going down. Just what you want in a festival - good vibes.
We were stoked to be playing in the sun on Sunday too - the crowd was going off!
We'll be back there for sure!

Just a note to say thank you for the tickets that we gave away on the radio. We have had nothing but great feedback from those who went, so well done. And it was a good decision to postpone to the Sunday. Let us know of anything that may be coming up at Music Mountain so we can let people know.

im glad you put it off till tomorrow..i was thinking you were mad to have it today..lol.. i went last year to fat freddys and it poured but we didnt have that wind.. love the venue and was soooo looking forward to experiencing it in the sun..this year i have talked 6 friends to come with me so we are all looking forward to tomorrow and the years ahead.. just one thing..how about next year to make it the end of jan.. end of feb seems to be rain rain rain.. :o) BRing it on.. cant wait..

Only suggestion is maybe next time we can buy the funny money with our ticket purchase or as you come into the gate rather than having to line up again.

Hello MMM,
We just wanted to say thanks for such an awesome show on Sunday. We travelled from Tauraunga on Friday night and were bummed out to hear of the postponement but luckily had friends in Omaha so chilled and waited. So glad we did ! Its our third visit to MMM and it just gets better all the time. Cant say who we liked most but Salmonella Dub really showed some class.
You guys have really got something special there and we eagerly wait for news of the 2010 line up

We saw Freddy’s in the mud and rain and don’t know why you did’nt play Saturday, but hey, Sunday was a blast all the way. Your set up is so cool.....whats up for 2010?

I wanted to write and say thanks for doing the show Sunday. Sun day it truly was and so good to sit on the grass and soak it up. We danced around the fires all night and had the best time. Ever. Huge sound, like it used to be. We will be back for more.

I went to the 2009 Bush Party by myself and had a lovely time, I hooked up with some young people there and they were lovely. The whole day was great. I had the best time and will definately come next year.
